I came up with the nick in 1994 with my best friend, Rhea. We were known as Toix and Nix. Later on, we were joined by other friends who came up with nicknames that had X's as last letters. We later on justified this 'nicknam-ing' by saying that we were a group of people with X-factors. I still remember the nicknames of the other group members ... Jeux, Trix, Twix, ...oh but one was really stubborn in having the nick 'Storm.' To this day, only Storm and I maintained our made-up names. Practically all the people who knew me here in Manila got to know me as Toix. In Mindanao, I'm known by other names - Mayet, Flor, Flo, etc.

07-19-06 - There ought to be a software developed that helps the not-so-educated make wise economic decisions such as 'how much to save from a month's earnings' based on say the current market conditions (e.g. savings interest rate, t-bills, stock prices, what-the-f@#$ ... I myself don't know).
